Your Community, your voice

At Places for People, communication is the key to maintaining thriving Communities. So if something isn't working for you, it's likely not working for your neighbours either!

Community is all about listening and understanding our Customers' needs; that's why we'd love to hear from you.

From repair waiting times and Anti-Social Behaviour Management to property standards and wellbeing services - we're currently running a range of Customer surveys on various topics and would love for you to get involved.

We gather feedback in a variety of ways, including direct contact from Customers (emails, phone calls and social media), via customer satisfaction perception surveys, triggered surveys after an interaction such as raising a complaint or repair, and through our various National Customer Groups. As well as collecting feedback internally, we also work with external companies who send surveys on our behalf.

If you ever want to confirm the legitimacy of a research project, please email getinvolved@placesforpeople.co.uk and we will confirm to you in writing.

Surveys for 2024/25

We’re undertaking more research than usual this year so we can develop a deeper understanding of our Customers. We care about our Customers and want to ensure that our services meet your needs, one way to do this is through our surveys. Look out for an email, call or a visit from a member of our team over the next few months so that you can give us your views.

Tenant Satisfaction Measures Survey (TSM)

This survey has been created by the Regulator for Social Housing, which oversees all landlords like us and the services we provide to our Customers. The regulator is collecting the views of social housing Customers in England through this short survey, as part of its new TSM. We will be carrying out the survey via telephone (through a company called Service Insights), email (directly from us) or face-to-face with our Colleagues.

Opens: Autumn 2024

Annual Review of the Charter Survey (ARC)

The Scottish Social Housing Charter was first introduced by the Scottish Government in March 2012. It sets the standards and outcomes that all social landlords in Scotland should aim to achieve when performing their housing activities. Landlords must provide accurate information on the Charter indicators and contextual indicators through their ARC, of which a perception survey forms part of the submission. We will be carrying out the survey via telephone (through a company called Service Insights), email (directly from us) or face-to-face with our staff.

Opens: Autumn 2024

Wellbeing Survey

In June, we launched our annual Customer Wellbeing Survey. This is a big opportunity for us to check in with Customers, do the right thing and find out where we can do more to offer support through our social impact activities.

2024 is now complete; the survey will be back again in 2025.

Keep your personal information protected

Please be aware of any unsolicited calls you may receive from other sources. There has been an increase in individuals pretending to be housing associations to collect personal data illegally. If you experience an in-person visit, always ask for identification before supplying personal information. Only trust official phone numbers attributed to Places for People when over the phone.

If you ever want to confirm the legitimacy of a research project, please email getinvolved@placesforpeople.co.uk and we will confirm to you in writing.
