Family Contribution
When a loved one steps in to help you onto the property ladder, our family contribution scheme is the perfect way to say ‘thank you’!
A kindness repaid
Saving up to buy your first home – especially when the cost of everything seems to be on the rise – isn’t always easy. So if you’re lucky enough to have a friend or family member who wants to help by topping up your savings pot, we think they deserve something in return.
To help you say ‘thank you’, when your friend or family member gifts you a certain amount* towards buying your new Places for People home, we’ll repay their generosity with a cash gift* of their own.
How does it work?
- If you’re buying your first home and your friend or family member gifts you an amount* towards the purchase price, you can apply for our family gift scheme.
- Once you’ve found your dream home on a qualifying development, contact the Sales team to tell them you want to purchase through the scheme.
- One of our friendly advisors will talk you through what happens next and recommend an independent financial advisor to discuss your mortgage options.
- Once you’ve bought your new home, we’ll help you say ‘thank you’ to your friend or family member by gifting them a cash sum*.
*Amounts may vary between developments.
